Project Overview
Peresia is a managed services marketplace that connects clients with local freelancers ("taskers") in the US and Canada. Unlike open gig platforms, Peresia collects the client's payment upfront into an Escrow, lets taskers chat, quote, and manage work inside the platform, and releases the payment once the job is complete — so both sides are protected.
3iTeam International was responsible for architecting and building the platform end to end: authentication, client flow, tasker onboarding, organization/partner portal, verification logic, and secured API layer.

The Challenge
Peresia's founders wanted a marketplace that behaved more like an escrow-backed, trust-first service platform than a casual job board.
That meant:
- •Multiple user types (clients, freelancers/taskers, partner organizations)
- •Upfront payments and platform fees
- •A way to verify taskers through partner organizations
- •API-driven architecture to support mobile apps and web
- •Secure communication between users
- •Backend to support millions of users
- •Verify taskers with automated background check
- •Everything running on modern cloud infrastructure
Our Solution
We designed Peresia as a multi-tenant, role-based system:
Client App
Can post a requirement, review tasker quotations, select a tasker, upload funds to escrow, and pay when the work is done.
Key Features:
- •Register/login and create service requests
- •Search freelancers within a selected radius/location
- •Get multiple quotes and pick a freelancer
- •Fund the gig before work starts (payment protection)
- •In-app chat / voice / video with contact-info blocking
- •Manage ongoing/past/cancelled jobs and release payments
- •Loyalty points and Priority Circle job highlighting
- •Chat/call with the freelancer as needed
Tasker App
Can join the platform, create the wallet, pass background checks, prepare their profile, quote for jobs, get hired, and get paid.

- •Secure registration and service-category enrollment
- •Dashboard with pending/ongoing jobs and earnings
- •Receive job invites based on proximity and service
- •Upload certificates/portfolio to stay ahead of the game
- •Protected payouts because the client funds first

Admin Portal
Can monitor transactions, users, and organization activity.

- •Web portal to manage customers, suppliers, jobs, and financials
- •Role-based admin accounts
- •View customer/job profiles, transactions, complaints, and support chats
- •AI-based checks for fraud (contact sharing) and harmful images, with alerts to admins
Partner Portal
Get a dedicated portal to view verification requests from their members and approve/reject/un-verify them.
Key Features:
- •View Verification List: taskers/members requesting verification under that organization
- •Take actions: Verify, Reject, Un-verify
- •View Verified List filtered to that organization
- •Organization dashboard to see how many members are active/approved
